The Scenic Hill Town
Pyin Oo Lwin, also known as Maymyo, is the center of Myanmar’s principle flower and vegetable production. During colonial times, the British used Pyin Oo Lwin as a summer retreat and most of the colonial architecture remains. In Pyin Oo Lwin, you can visit waterfalls and caves as well as take horse-drawn carriage rides. The Botanical Garden is the best place to take a walk and relax with family and friends. And you can trek through the local villages, stopping at a school to greet some of the kids.
