Itenaries

​Day 1 | Land in Mandalay
Welcome to Mandalay! Mandalay is the second largest and last kingdom of Myanmar. There are about 2 million people who live in Mandalay. Our local guide will be waiting for you at the airport, holding a welcome sign board with your name. As you had a long flight, we will drive straight to the hotel. After we check in at the hotel, realax and eat dinner at local restaurant. One night in Mandalay.

​Day 2 | Drive to Kalaw
Leave the old capital city behind and head straight to the hill town called Kalaw. It will take 5 hours to get there. Driving along the mountain road, it will give you different feelings than low land. After we check in
at the hotel, get realxed and see the sunset at the viewpoint where you can see the whole fabulous city of Kalaw. Eat dinner at one of the famous restaurants. As you had a long drive from Mandalay, refill your energy for 1 night and 1 day trekking to Nyaung Shwe City. One night in Kalaw.

Day 3| Kalaw
Wake up at 8 AM and enjoy your breakfast at hotel and stroll around the local morning market near our hotel. Hop in the car and drive about 30 min to the trekking point called Lamine village where you can see Da Nu ethnic minority. Stop at the Pa O village, see traditional hand-made scarf made by an old lady who is 75 years old. Along the trekking pathways, you can see cornfields, wheat fields, chili plantations and ginger plantations. Stop at the Kone- Latt village for lunch. After having a lunch break, we will start our journey again to our sleepy village called Pa Tu Pauk, where you can see Da Nu ethnic people again. Trekking will take all day and we will be staying at local houses and monasteries for the night. One night at local house. 

Day 4 | Kalaw
Wake up around 7 AM and eat a local breakfast before we start our journey to Nyaung Shwe City. Today, we will trek by small streams and through beautiful, narrow pathways. Walking along the big main road called Pin Mi-Nan Yout-Inn Dein, you are half way to your destination to Nyaung Shwe City. After passing a bunch of bamboo trees, you are almost at the Ton Lae Village, where we will eat lunch. After having lunch there, take a boat to Nyaung Shwe jetty. Sleep one night in Nyaung Shwe City. 

Day 5 | Inle Lake
Leave from the hotel at 9 AM for today’s activities. Take a private boat along the second largest lake in Myanmar to see Inthar culture and their customs. Visit to Phaung Daw Oo pagoda and learn about the history of the five Golden Buddha Status. And then we will take a boat to the weaving factory, where you can learn about the weaving process and buy local traditional handmade souvenirs. After that, we will go visit the house of a local partner and learn about their farming and how they grow their crops on the floating garden. Eat lunch with them and discuss their life and their customs. After having lunch, we will visit one of the most ancient monasteries in Inle Lake. After finishing our activities, we will take our boat back to the hotel and relax. In the evening, we will walk around Nyaung Shwe City and enjoy dinner at one of the best restaurants in Nyaung Shwe City. One night in Nyaung Shwe City. 

​Day 6| Inle Lake
Today is our last day on Inle Lake; we will spend all day on a private boat, touring the lake’s diverse villages and sites. Don’t forget to bring sunscreen and a hat. We will start at Indein Village where there are a lot of ancient pagodas. Indein is one of the villages that host the Inle “5 days market”, the market that is held in five days rotating cycle in five villages around the lake. The Pa-Oh people who live in the surrounding hills sell their crops here. The village is best known for its many ancient pagodas in many shapes and sizes and in various states of preservation. While some have been restored, others are in their original crumbling state. It also has 700 meters covered walkway which leads up to the pagodas. The walkway is lined with stalls where vendors sell their home made traditional Shan shoulder bags, longyis, shirts and other items as well. After we tour around Indein village, we will go back to hotel and relax for while. In the evening, take a car and see sunset at the winery factory and enjoy a nice dinner.  One night in Nyaung Shwe City. 

Day 7 | Fly to Bagan
We will have a morning flight to Bagan! As we land in Bagan, hop in the car and take a short drive to hotel by passing through thousands of ancient temples and pagodas. After we check in at the hotel, we will visit to the most unique architecture temple in Bagan called Ananda which is built in 11 Centuries. In Bagan, most of the temples were built in 11 to 13 centuries. After that, we will visit to the most massive temple and full of amazing historical background temple called Dhamayangyi. After that, we will go to the high temple in Bagan called Thatpyinnyu. We will have lunch at the Burmese real traditional buffet at Golden Myanmar restaurant. In the afternoon, we will learn about Buddhism at the monastic school and have conversations with the abbot. Learn about novices and monks who are coming from different areas in Myanmar. After that, we will go back to the hotel and relax for a while. In the evening, take a boat, and see the sunset along the most important river of Myanmar citizens called Ayeyarwaddy River. Dinner with a puppet show. One night in Bagan. 

Day 8 | Bagan
Leave from the hotel at 8 AM. Today will be a long drive to Mt. Poppa is also known as the home of sprits and gnats. On the way to Mt. Poppa, we will visit to local market called Manisithu. This is the most important market and biggest market in Bagan-Nyaung district. After that, we will drive straight to Mt. Poppa and it is about 50 km southeast of Bagan. Along the stair case of  Taung Kalatt (pedestal hill), you will see a lot of monkeys are hanging around the vestibules and sitting on the floor. Don’t be afraid, they aren’t aggressive unless you tease them. When you get to the top of Taung Kalat, you will see an astonish view of Bagan. After we climb down from the top of Taung Kalat, we will have lunch at the Mt. Poppa Resort restaurant. And then, we will go back to the hotel and relax. In the evening, our local tour guide will take you to see the sunset on the top of the Temple. One night in Bagan.

Day 9| Travel to Pyin Oo Lwin
Leave from Bagan and take flight to Mandalay at 8 AM. After we land at the Mandalay International airport, we will take a private car to Pyin Oo Lwin. Pyin Oo Lwin is 67 kilometers east of Mandalay city. After we had a long day travel, this is the best time to relax and chill around the wonderful city. Check in at the Royal Reward hotel and relax. In the afternoon, we will go visit to the Peik Chin Myaung Lime Stone Cave. After that, have lunch at the best restaurant in Pyin Oo Lwin called The Club Terrace Food Loung. After we have lunch, we will take you to the Aviary. After touring around, we will go back to hotel. In the evening, visit to the Maha Ant Htoo Kan Thar pagoda, enjoy the sunset and the whole city of Pyin Oo Lwin. One night in Pyin Oo Lwin.

Day 10| Pyin Oo Lwin
As a last day in Pyin Oo Lwin, we will tour around the city and take a horse carriage around the city. We will go visit the Local Market, Colonial houses and National Kandawgyi Park. After that we will have lunch at the traditional shan restaurant in Pyin Oo Lwin. After tour around the city, relax at the hotel and enjoy your last day in Pyin Oo lwin. One night in Pyin Oo Lwin.

Day 11| Drive to Mandalay
Wake up at 8 AM and head back to Mandalay where we started our trip. We will go straight to our hotel and check in. It will be great time to do more touring around Mandalay city as our last day. We will go visit to Mandalay Palace, Mandalay Hill and Mahamuni Pagoday which are the most important things to see before you leave from our country. One night in Mandalay.

Day 12 | Flying Home
It’s your last day in this untouched country. Take a chance to get a sweet tea before you fly home and say goodbye to your local guide. We will drop everyone off at the Mandalay International Airport.
